Delightful

Altered Box
Hello all. I had a corrugated chalk box, for some reason I did not want to through it away. Got a good chance to make it a beautiful one. I also made the texture paste at home for the same and trust me it turned out really good ( mixed 1/2 cup cornstarch, 2 tablespoon glue and 1 tablespoon of white acrylic paint).
I have used Papericious Naturals patterned paper to cover the box. Then I used the script stencil and the retro circle stencil . I used different metallic acrylic colors to it, until was satisfied with the look. I cut the chipboard into two pieces and stuck it. I applied gesso to it and then mixed perfect pearl with grass green alcohol ink. I used a few layers of papers in the middle and added a 3 D sticker "DELIGHTFUL"to it. I have fussy cut all the flowers and the leaves also used some metal embellishments, hearts, glitter, a pearl string to it.
Thank You.

THE ADORABLE

Hello and welcome you all to my blog. This time I have tried to create a canvas using shells which I love and also wanted to add lot of elements to it.
First I gessoed the entire canvas. Then I did some stencil work using texture paste. I used the Bloom Silhouettes stencil from Artploration also I used another stencil from crafter's workshop. Towards the lower side I stuck the shells with 3d gel medium. I also used some buttons, a lock and a key, metal flowers, time clogs, a clock etc. Then I gessoed it all again . Then I painted it with acrylic paints metallic green, bronze, inka gold . I also used perfect pearl to it.To the wooden chipboard I applied Egyptian Gold, after it dried I stamped it with walnut distress ink with scripture stamp. I wanted the canvas to have a few hanging embellishments . For that I made metal chain and attached a bottle filled with glitter to it. I also used a key , a bird's cage, a heart to it. I cant show in the picture as to how lovely these embellishments look  but it has given a different dimension to the canvas. I wanted to add a fairy but dropped the idea. Finally adorned it with bling and handmade paper
flowers .Hope you all like it.
Thank You

Papericious Monthly Challenge

Hey all,
Hope everyone had a great summer vacation and all are geared up well for the upcoming challenges. So am I :). The recipe for this month papericious sounded very interesting to me. It was a great combination of papers die cuts and without embellishments any project looks incomplete.
I have tried my level best and have come up with this. I have used three type of pattered papers, a die cut from papericious. Have used the clock, the bird, and the pearls as the embellishment.
Do stop by and comment on my work to improve and create something more interesting.
Love all.

Beautiful Dream

BEAUTIFUL DREAM
The March Mixed Media Challenge
Hi all ,this is Teena Munot from Pune, India. I have always been a creative person ever since my childhood. I love to experiment things. Just a back or two I just saw the tutorials of a few mixed media artists and I just fell in love with this work. I have not learn t anything but just followed the tutorials of a lot of artists. Now for the challenge , I took a canvas of 24" / 11". I cut out some small pieces and made a collage . Then I applied gesso to it. I then used blue , green and yellow pearl color to it. Then using Tim Holtz clock stencil I applied texture paste (texture paste+ blue color). I loved the look of the corrugated heart. I used a chipboard frame in which I have put a glass bead. I colored the flowers with some yellow and green distress ink. I hope everyone likes it. Thank You
