Papericious Monthly Challenge

Hey all,
Hope everyone had a great summer vacation and all are geared up well for the upcoming challenges. So am I :). The recipe for this month papericious sounded very interesting to me. It was a great combination of papers die cuts and without embellishments any project looks incomplete.
I have tried my level best and have come up with this. I have used three type of pattered papers, a die cut from papericious. Have used the clock, the bird, and the pearls as the embellishment.
Do stop by and comment on my work to improve and create something more interesting.
Love all.

April Mixed media Callenge

April Mixed Media Challenge
Hello Crafty People

Hope everyone is doing great.......
Is was a wonderful feeling to win the March Mixed Media Challenge.......this month again I am here, tried to create something much better and  more creative.
This time I tried my hand on an altered box.....( 12" /5").I pasted some tissue paper in small pieces in some areas of the box. I also stuck some cheese cloth again in small bits. Then I put a chipboard clock on one of the sides.I used the magical box stencil to it. I also used some metal pieces like a lock , a key ,clogs. I then gessosed everything. I used pearl finish acrylic colors and grass finish alcohol ink. Finally I adorned it with some flowers and I also used a small piece of mirror in the center. Just loved it.Hope it appeals all of you also. Thank You and Happy Crafting.

Beautiful Dream

BEAUTIFUL DREAM
The March Mixed Media Challenge
Hi all ,this is Teena Munot from Pune, India. I have always been a creative person ever since my childhood. I love to experiment things. Just a back or two I just saw the tutorials of a few mixed media artists and I just fell in love with this work. I have not learn t anything but just followed the tutorials of a lot of artists. Now for the challenge , I took a canvas of 24" / 11". I cut out some small pieces and made a collage . Then I applied gesso to it. I then used blue , green and yellow pearl color to it. Then using Tim Holtz clock stencil I applied texture paste (texture paste+ blue color). I loved the look of the corrugated heart. I used a chipboard frame in which I have put a glass bead. I colored the flowers with some yellow and green distress ink. I hope everyone likes it. Thank You
